The next-gen 2022 KTM RC 390 has been launched in the country at Rs 3.14 lakhs (ex-showroom). The bookings for the bike commence from today onwards in the country. Interested buyers can get the booking done by directly visiting the KTM showrooms in Pan India. The 2022 KTM RC 390 boasts of a true race-derived design and high-end electronics. Having said that, KTM has introduced this latest model with Grand Prix-inspired electronics. These include Motorcycle Traction Control (MTC), Quickshifter+, Lean-Angle sensitive Cornering ABS, Dual-Channel ABS with SUPERMOTO mode, and a TFT multicolor display with KTM MY RIDE.


In terms of design, the new bike gets LED headlamps with integrated LED blinkers, tail lamps, a handlebar with 2-step height adjust, redesigned steel trellis subframe, and a larger 13.7-liter fuel tank. The all-new bionic wheel design, hollow front axle, and new ByBre braking system have increased the weight of the bike in comparison to the outgoing model. The 2022 KTM RC 390 is offered in two new color options namely KTM Factory Racing Blue and KTM Orange.

The 2022 KTM RC 390 is equipped with class-leading electronics for racing enthusiasts to achieve better lap-times. KTM Pro-XP, which currently has curated pro-experience programs for the KTM’s Street and Adventure range, will soon see the addition of an exclusive multi-city KTM RC track racing property as well. This multi-city track property will give KTM owners a platform to race and experience the true potential of the KTM RC 390 on racetracks across India,” as commented by Sumeet Narang, President (Probiking), Bajaj Auto Ltd. 


The bike has been redesigned to optimize aerodynamics due to its now higher top speeds. Furthermore, the bike also features wind and weather protection, with enhanced heat management provided by a combination of inner and outer body panels to direct airflow away from the rider.

Performance-wise, the 2022 KTM RC 390 is powered by a 373cc state-of-the-art, single-cylinder, 4-valve, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine. The suspension setup comprises WP APEX USD forks and WP APEX adjustable mono-shock. In terms of the brakes, the bike gets dependable BYBRE brakes with 320mm and 280 mm discs with dual-channel ABS.
